The recent pandemic disruption has challenged how we prioritize our goals and resulted in us working differently. This disruption caused a pivot in everyday work processes and procedures for businesses across the globe. As we embrace a “new normal”, it is a good time to take stock of what we learned and how this can make us better going forward. In the rapid response to the pandemic, organizations were forced to change business practices in the moment, resulting in a change in the way employees were able to work. Leaders will need to embrace what worked and what didn’t work in these innovative practices in order to respond to a change in employees’ expectations for what is possible.
