The Education Foundation President Parker McClellan, the Education Committee and FAC staff is pleased to announce the opening of the 2022 Scholarship Application period. Eligible students are encouraged to apply for the 2022 FAC Education Foundation Scholarship. Since 1990 the FAC Education Foundation has awarded more than $375,600 to 149 students. These students demonstrated excellence in academics and represent the future of the aviation industry.
The 2022 FAC Education Foundation Scholarship is available for any student that meets or exceeds the following application criteria:
1. Actively enrolled students pursuing a degree or concentration in aviation from one of the member institutions. 2. Has achieved at least sophomore standing with a member institution. 3. Will have at least one semester of coursework remaining after January 2022. 4. Has a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher. 5. Submits an unofficial transcript by October 1, 2021 via email to etcroop@flylcpa.com 6. Is available for a video conference interview on Friday, November 12, 2021.
The FAC Member institutions are: 1. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, (Daytona Beach Campus) 2. Everglades University 3. Florida Institute of Technology 4. Lynn University 5. Miami Dade College 6. Polk State College 7. University of South Florida
The deadline for applications is Friday, October 1, 2021.
