Scholarship Program
Aviation is a vital part of Florida's economy and airports contribute over $144 billion annually to the state's economy. FAC realized the necessity to attract the finest future aviation professionals to Florida. Therefore, the FAC Educational Foundation was established in 1990 to:
• Further the professionalism of FAC members so they can effectively perform their duties and responsibilities
• Financially assist students pursuing degrees in aviation
The Florida Airports Council encourages students to apply for the 2023 FAC Education Foundation Scholarship. Since 1990, the Council has issued 190 scholarships totaling more than $434K to 168 students demonstrating excellence in academics, dedication, commitment and professionalism in aviation related fields.

Testimonials
"I would like to thank each person that is involved in the Scholarship Foundation for the opportunity to further my aviation education. I would also like to sincerely thank each person that was part of the Scholarship Committee, that took time out of their busy schedules to interview and select this year's scholarship recipients. I am truly grateful for the overwhelming encouragement and support that I received from every member of the committee. The interview experience truly gave me confidence in myself and affirmed that I have a future in the Florida Airport System. Thank you so much for this! By awarding me a Florida Airports Council Scholarship, you have lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I hope on day I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me." - Liesl M. King
