Officers & Board of Directors

The Officers of the Council, together with the Immediate Past Chair, seven airport representatives, and one corporate representative in good standing elected at-large at the Annual Meeting of the Council, constitutes the FAC Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for overseeing the business of the Council. Only airport representatives can serve as Officers and/or At-Large Members of the Council, except for the one Corporate Board Member.

An Executive Committee of the Board of Directors is empowered to make decisions for the Council in matters of immediacy where there is not enough time before an official decision must be rendered to assemble a meeting of the full Board of Directors. Such decisions rendered by the Executive Committee are reported to the Board of Directors at its next meeting and are reflected in the official minutes of that meeting. The Executive Committee is composed of the Chair, the Vice Chair, the Secretary/Treasurer and the Immediate Past Chair. 

​At-large members of the Board of Directors are elected to serve three-year terms on a staggered basis. Terms begin immediately following the Annual Conference & Exposition.
