Legislative Advocacyto present FAC-member issues to the Florida Legislature, Governor and state leaders. FAC is assisted by the Tallahassee-based governmental consulting firm of Ballard Partners.
Committees allow members from all categories to participate as full voting members of FAC's thirteen standing committees. The Council has become one of the nation’s premier airport organizations, in a large part, due to the volunteer efforts of its members who are encouraged to join and become active in one or more of the following standing committees.
Electronic Newslettersto keep you current on local, state, and federal issues. RFP's, RFQ's, and bids are emailed directly to corporate members when received. You can be among the first to know when projects or jobs become available.
Events & Education FAC members receive discounted registration and exhibit booths fees for Council events.
Annual Conference and Exposition brings together 1,000+ aviation professionals for educational sessions, exhibits, and networking.
Education and Training Summit provides participants with specialty training and presentations from leading airport professionals and their private sector counterparts relative to airport management, operations, facilities, airport security, noise and environmental issues, and IT functions. This is a two and a half day event featuring workshops and sessions focusing on the important activities of the committees and other matters affecting airports.
State Fly-In to meet with legislators in Tallahassee to discuss the Council's legislative programs and issues for the year.
Federal Fly-In to Washington D.C. to present members' issues to national leaders including the Florida Legislative Delegation, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Homeland Security, and others as needed.
Educational Seminars, Webinars and Workshops on various airport-related issues presented throughout the state, and available on our website to all FAC member airports. Recordings are available to members only.
