Join FAC members and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) for a webinar outlining DEF training and certification through FAC’s BMP initiative.
In response to incidents of fuel contamination from Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) at Florida airports resulting in jet engine flameouts while in flight, FAC formed a working group to identify how best to educate Florida airport managers and fuel service providers regarding the risk of fuel contamination by DEF.
During this webinar, Scott Kohut, Deputy Director Boca Raton Airport and Chair, FAC General Aviation Committee will update members regarding the status of FDOT’s implementation of Florida’s new DEF policy. Michael France, Managing Director, Safety & Training, NATA will give an overview OBP #36 and describe how the FAC/NATA partnership can be utilized by Florida airports to satisfy Florida’s legal requirements.
