On behalf of the Florida Airports Council, the Education Foundation and the many Florida college students pursuing careers in aviation in spite of the worst pandemic the world has seen since early in the last century. Please join me in contributing to the Foundation by participating in the 2021 Chairman’s Challenge. The 52nd annual conference and exposition will begin July 18, 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel. This is the largest fundraising event of the year for the Council and the Foundation. As many of you know, the pandemic had a huge negative effect on the aviation industry and FAC was not spared. The Foundation depends upon this annual event to raise funds to support the scholarship and internship programs. Since 1990 FAC has awarded scholarships valuing $383,100 to 155 students. FAC has contributed $469,507 towards college internships at participating airports since the program began in 2007. Please, make your contribution of $120 (or more) now and make a difference! Please click the above Chairman's Challenge Participation link to make your donation. Simply complete the form and check the box next to “2021 Chairman’s Challenge”. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. Also, please take a minute to review the attached testimonials from several FAC scholarship recipients. Thank you for your consideration, especially in light of what we have all been through.
Sincerely, Luis A. Olivero, FAC – Chairman of the Board Asst. Director, Airport Affairs – Greater Orlando Aviation Authority
A special thanks to all participating in this year's Challenge. Your commitment and support has generated an additional $1,355 for the Education Foundation.
