The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority’s 2020 Annual Conference Planning Committee and co-hosts from Kissimmee Gateway, Orlando Sanford and Daytona Beach International Airports and FAC began working on the plans for the 51st Annual Conference and Exposition over a year ago. The event was scheduled to take place this July at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando.
After much discussion with the Staff, Board of Directors, 2020 Planning Committee and after hearing from our members regarding the impacts of the Coronavirus Pandemic on airports and our business community, the FAC Board of Directors has made the tough decision to cancel the 51st Annual Conference. The 52nd Annual Conference is still on track and will be hosted by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority, July 18-21, 2021.
DON’T FORGET - the Education & Training Summit is on track for October 7-9, 2020, at the Embassy Suites - Lake Buena Vista South in Kissimmee, Florida. This event includes exhibit and sponsorship opportunities, and will be hosted by FAC’s Corporate, General Aviation, Noise Abatement & Community Affairs, Environmental and Training Committees. Visit FAC’s website for more information.
Florida Airports are working through a difficult time, but our strength is in our connection to each other and dedication to our statewide industry. As we emerge from this experience, coming together as an industry and aviation family will be important to our overall recovery.
