Confused about Sales Tax on Rental Space at Florida Airports?

There is continuing confusion about collecting the state sales tax from airport tenants. The confusion has been caused by FL Department of Revenue's attempt to simplify the issue by combining two different taxes with their two different rates and their generally different, but sometimes overlapping at airports, applications.
